June Special! {Clarksville TN Photographer}

Quick reminder: I'm still running my FANTASTIC portrait special until June 30th. If you schedule your portrait session before the end of the month, the session fee is completely on ME! Doesn't get much better than that :-) Prints/files/packages for purchase after the session.

I'm doing this for a super limited time to introduce myself to Clarksville TN... so take advantage of my time and talent. Check out my website to see more of my work and how I take care of each of my photo clients.

Racing the Rain {Ft Campbell Photographer}

Yesterday morning, the forcast was calling for severe thunderstorms - all day long. We almost called the shoot off, but Jeanie & I really wanted to get the shoot taken care of before Casey was due to leave for a deployment. I am sooo glad we didn't cancel! The rain held off, and we got some amazing family portraits:

The big softbox in the sky! {Clarksville Portrait Photographer}

Here are a few sneak peeks from my family portrait session yeterday... I had such a blast with Rebecca & Stony's family. The weather was PERFECT, aside from being a bit humid (still getting used to that!) the sky was delisciously overcast and wonderful.

I love casual family portraits - modern, but not something that is going to look out of style on your wall a year or five from now. Enjoy!

101 in 1001

I love lists. I love making them, checking things off, and revising them over & over. It's my way of staying accountable to myself, and actually remembering to do things! Usually those lists are work-type stuff... which are gratifying, but not super fun. So, to fix that, here is my 101 things in 1001 days list (roughly 2.7something years):

My list

What's on your list??

I'll keep you updated on my progress!

Home improvement : Personal

So the other night, at 2AM, while the hubby had an overnight duty... I did this:

It began as one of those "questionable" pieces of furniture that B managed to keep when we moved into our new house (there's still a recliner in this category that needs to be dealt with, I will keep you updated). After sanding, priming, more priming, painting, and a little more painting -- I love it!

This will be finding a home in our guest bedroom. Best part about it was it was free - we had all of the primer and paint from other projects already. Not bad.
