Mr. Camden was my model again for these newborn portraits on Ft Campbell today. Adorable, is he not?
Thanks Tonya, I had a blast!

My social experiments.
I think I'm becoming a social media addict. There's just so many different options! I'm really, really putting my nerdiness out on a platter here (don't judge):
I use Google Reader to follow all of my favorite blogs (I'm up to over 40, I think). From there, I can share my favorite blog posts on my Google Profile which links to this blog. On this blog, my Twitter posts are fed into the sidebar. There links to my personal facebook page as well as my business facebook page. Which, by the way, this blog post will be fed directly into.
Follow that? I'm not sure I do either...

Kaye Photo : Ft Campbell newborn photographer
Bobby & I stopped by Aaron & Tonya's house this afternoon to say "Hi!" to 8-day year old Camden Todd (I ADORE that name. So cute).
He was a trooper while I grabbed a couple images:
Cute, cute, cute.

Hi (again),
2 posts in one day! After not posting for months! Whew! :-)
So, drum roll please, check out my new photography website:
http://www.kayephoto.com
So, being down in Clarksville, I decided I'd like to get back into photography - starting with portraits, part time. Banker by day, photographer by night kind of thing. :-)
A couple factors went into this decision:
I MISS it. I loved being able to be a happy part of people's lives, from graduations, to engagements, to births...
Bobby told me I needed a hobby! Ha, something to do while he's playing Modern Warfare on the PS3.
I've always had a love affair with beautiful images, and I have plans for running the business super efficiently.
I'm excited!! There are several super-talented photographers here in the Clarksville area, so there is definitely stiff competition. Time to start my grass roots guerilla marketing campaign (i.e. get clients without spending tons of money).
Stay tuned...

House project!
As many of you know, we bought a house back in February. Now that we're back from the honeymoon and getting settled in, I've been doing some projects! Here's my latest:
Old vanity cabinets were this color in both bathrooms:
After stripping, sanding, staining & varnishing:
Guest bathroom:
Master bathroom:
We definitely need new countertops and faucets, but that will come later...
